The Neva II – Parallelo Lombardia Fund operates under a co-investment scheme together with the Neva II and Neva II Italia Funds in companies that meet the requirements of the Lombardia Venture STEP measure of Regione Lombardia. These companies operate in the technology, renewable, clean and resource‑efficient sectors (Cleantech), have a technological maturity level equal to or higher than TRL 6, and are headquartered and carry out their operations in Lombardia.

The Fund and its related investments are implemented with the support of European funds under the ERDF Regional Programme PR FESR 21–27 of Regione Lombardia (Priority Axis 7, Specific Objective 2.9, Action 2.9.2). Specifically, the initiative involves the establishment of a fund of funds named Lombardia Venture STEP, managed by Finlombarda S.p.A. on behalf of Regione Lombardia, which subscribes to units issued—through parallel funds—by Venture Capital funds dedicated to investments in Lombard companies engaged in the development and manufacturing of critical technologies consistent with the STEP Strategy (Strategic Technologies for Europe Platform) established by Regulation (EU) 2024/795.

On 23 July 2025, by Decree No. 10535, the list of proposals admitted for investment under Lombardia Venture STEP relating to Action 2.9.2 was approved, with the allocation of a commitment amounting to EUR 19,589,619.84 to the proposal submitted by Neva SGR.
